I hope your year is off to a great start! We are looking forward to a new year with many activities for our members.

Get Connected with Golf Associations
One of the best ways to meet your fellow Members and get involved with the Club is to join the Ladies’, Men’s or Senior Golf Association. We have regular tournaments for each association and many participants. I want to assure you that we have players of all skill levels in these groups. Please call the Golf Shop if you want to sign up or if you have any questions.

Prioritize Your Health with Tennis and Pickleball
This is the time of year when many of our members make News Year’s resolutions to take better care of their health. We have the perfect opportunities for you. We have free tennis drills every Tuesday evening at 7:00PM and Saturday mornings at 9:00Am. We also have a very active group of Pickleball players that meet numerous times a week, and we even have a beginner group on Tuesday mornings. Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the United States. Check your weekly email for times when they get together.

Tune in to Food and Beverage Updates
I am excited to announce that Thad Adamek has started as the Food & Beverage Manager for Northgate. Thad has been the manager at Walden for over 3 years and will now be taking on both properties. He has been working with Chef Art and Brianna on the exciting new F&B programming that we are planning to roll out in February. Beginning January 1st, the service charge for all F&B purchases will be going to 22%. This minimal increase will help us retain and attract the best staff to serve you and your guests.

Remember This While on the Course
I want to give a friendly reminder to all golfers when playing to please fill in your divots, rake your bunkers after hitting and repair your ball marks on the green to help us in keeping the golf course in great shape. This is very important at this time of year when the grass is not growing and cannot repair itself. If we all remember to do this, everyone’s experience will be more enjoyable.

Please remember to get logged into the website and also download the new mobile app. This is the best way to stay connected to the Club. You can make tee times, dinner reservations, sign up for events and much more. Contact Renee at the Front Desk if you need any assistance.
