On behalf of the SGA Board of Directors, I would like to welcome all SGA members to what promises to be an exciting season here at Northgate Country Club.

This year will be filled with special challenges as we transition into new ownership by Concert Golf. However, we also look forward to the many benefits and opportunities to be derived from their presence here and their experience in the industry.

Our entertaining weekly tournaments provide an opportunity for the top 30% of the field, as well as the closest to the pin winners, to receive valuable pro shop credit. Our special tournaments include the Silver Fox member-guest, the Club Championship, Match Play, and our Spring and Fall Derby events. In addition, we will be having more fun-filled events with our LGA and MGA counterparts during the year. Our Awards Banquet held annually in February, offers a great evening of food and fun for all members and their significant others.

Thanks in large part to our past and present Boards of Directors, and to all of you who regularly participate in the tournaments, the SGA remains a strong and viable organization. We currently have approximately 125 members, 97 of which play at one time or another in the weekly tournaments. We average right around 42 golfers every week. Our surrounding golf clubs are very envious of the participation of our SGA here at Northgate. I encourage all of you to remain active participants in 2024 and help keep our SGA strong and sustainable for many years to come.

I want to thank Shaun Donnelly and his pro shop staff for working hard to make sure that the SGA tournaments run smoothly and are a pleasant golfing experience for our members.
